Different kinds of emotion
Valentine's Day, like most major holidays, may inspire feelings of affection and bonding for some while making others feel particularly sad and lonely. Most of us have encountered both at some point in our lives. When a love relationship ends, a variety of feelings may occur, including sadness and depression.
If a breakup makes us feel miserable about a lack of potential partners, we may become bitter or depressed. If we feel rejected, we may experience sentiments of despair, worthlessness, or wrath. Sometimes we interpret the loss of a relationship as a personal failure, which can lead to feelings of shame or guilt. Many people enjoy celebrating this occasion because it makes them happy. They may enjoy expressing affection and making their significant other feel cherished. Similarly, many people love being reminded of how important they are to another person. Some people enjoy any opportunity to have a good time and will celebrate regardless of the occasion.Valentine's Day receives a wide range of emotions, including sentiments of rejection, which form our inner life and can sometimes feel overpowering. However, they are also temporary! Try to remember that, with enough time, this emotion will pass.
