Ilocos Sur Festival

 Ilocos Sur Festival is an annual Festival that celebrates the founding anniversary of the province of
Ilocos Sur, Philippines every 2nd of February. A week -long celebration, its activities span from the last few days of January to the first week of February. Major activities occur in Vigan, the capital of the province. It marks the historic establishment of the province during Spanish time. It was started to promote awareness and preservation of the local culture, tradition, heritage, and customs. It was also an opportunity to showcase local product, artistry, and craftsmanship. Moreover, it was also created to boost the local tourism industry.

Many tourists visited Vigan during the Ilocos Sur Festival 2024. Many activities have taken place, including a trade fair, horse racing, funrun, cosplay, and many more. On February 13, many people went to stadium to view several bands or artists, including Carlo Aquino, Ben&Ben, Sunkissed Lola, Silent Sanctuary, and others. Today's Ilocos sur Festival event was great entertaining. I will look forward to this Festival every year.

The Ilocos Sur Festival 2024, ended with a bang with the Governor's Night proving to be the happiest and the most memorable night of the festival. The Governor's Night Featured performances from Ben&Ben, Silent Sanctuary, Ebe Dancel, Sunkissed Lola, Downtown Q, DJ Hoest, DJ Katsy Lee, and Celebrity Guest Carlo Aquino.
